  • BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy - Edge Hill University

Graduated in May 2017 with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy. This was a 3 year course, covering modules within Anatomy, Physiology, taping and strapping, Kinesiology, Spinal and Peripheral Manual Therapy, Rehabilitation and Sports Massage. 

  • Level 4 Sports Massage - Edge Hill University

Gained Level 4 Sport Massage qualification in June 2015. This entailed gaining 200 hours of Sports Massage within sports teams and to the general public. I gained these hours by volunteering at sports clubs, but also volunteered at the London Marathon in April 2015 as part of the NSPCC team. 

I have volunteered and worked within a few sports teams during my time as a Sports Therapist, providing pitch side first aid, taping an strapping, massage and also injury assessment and rehabilitation. I have worked with:

  • Southport Rugby - Student first aider

  • NSPCC - post marathon massage (student volunteer)

  • East Villa FC - Student First aider, with pre and post game massage

  • Jamie Carraghers football college - Student mentorship for first aid

  • Everton Ladies development - Student Sports Therapist

  • Mirfield Stags Sports Therapist

  • Sports Therapist for Bumble Bees Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament in Spain

  • Sheffield Wednesday 1st Team Sports massage volunteer

  • Cleckheaton RUFC 1st Team Sports Therapist

I have always been a keen sports player myself, taking part in football, dancing, athletics and anything to get me onto a sports team. I am very enthusiastic about maintaining fitness and if/when injuries do occur, my main objective is to get you back to full fitness, if not better.
